Boylan Code LLP has opened a new office in Canandaigua and added John J. Gilbert as a partner in the firm. Gilbert was previously a principal at Scott & Gilbert LLP. He practices in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, trusts and estates, creditors’ rights, insurance subrogation, and real property law.
Financial specialist Bob Anderson has been promoted to controller of Stantec’s Northeast and South regions in the U.S. Based in Rochester, Anderson oversees the design firm’s finances and accounting across the more than 60 offices in those two regions. Anderson spent the last eight years as the financial services manager of Stantec’s Tri-State region.
SWBR Architects, a Rochester-based firm, recently announced the addition of Joe Kosiorek, LEED AP, as architect and project manager and Donald Naetzker II as planning manager. Kosiorek is responsible for the management of educational projects, primarily K-12. Naetzker brings 30 years of service and will enhance the firm’s planning and landscape architecture group. He will work to expand offerings in urban place-making, revitalization, historic preservation, conservation and more.
Dixon Schwabl, a full-service advertising, marketing and public relations agency, announced the promotion of Justin Shaw to director of business-to-business marketing services, and Wayne Gormont to digital project manager. Shaw is responsible for spearheading efforts to expand Dixon Schwabl’s client roster and grow revenue in the business-to-business category. Gormont is responsible for determining interactive project scopes and client needs, providing regular updates to key stakeholders and using advanced knowledge of digital search, social media, email marketing and other digital marketing channels, as well as other Web development approaches.
Maplewood Nursing & Rehabilitation, a long-term and rehabilitative care facility in Webster, announced two new hires in the Environmental Services department. Cameron Lockwood has been added as environmental services technician, while Irina Krusheva has been added as laundry aide. Lockwood is responsible for keeping floors and carpets clean, along with additional service duties. Krusheva handles laundry duties as well as daily processing of residents’ clothing.
Regional International Corp. technician, Jeremy “Bo” Colf, was recently awarded the New York State Motor Truck Association’s 2013 Statewide Golden Wrench Award. The award was designed to recognize and honor the best heavy vehicle technicians in New York state. Colf recently celebrated three years at Regional International Corp. He is a previous Genesee Region Golden Wrench Award recipient and placed second in the NYS SuperTech Tire Competition in 2013.
