Global economist to speak at upstate expo

Greater Rochester Enterprise has announced an expanded speaker lineup for the 2014 Upstate N.Y. Trade Conference & Expo scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. June 19, at The Strong National Museum of Play.

The conference offers area business leaders access to expert counsel on international strategy, export controls, food and beverage export resources, INCOTERMS, foreign-trade zones, and international payments and trade finance.

The lunch keynote address will be given by Jay Bryson, managing director and global economist at Wells Fargo and regular contributor to Bloomberg. Bryson will discuss the outlook for economic growth and how political and societal trends affect the global and regional economy.

Seneca Foods Corporation President and CEO Kraig Kayser will discuss in the closing address how Seneca became the largest processor and exporter of vegetables in the U.S.
