Peckham Hall at Nazareth College in Pittsford has received two local awards, a Rochester Chapter Construction Specifications Institute Outstanding Project Award and a Rochester Chapter American Institute of Architects Merit Award.
The $30 million, 74,000-square-foot structure opened in September 2012.
The team at SWBR Architects was recognized at meetings this spring, at which it accepted both awards.
The CSI chapter award is given for exceptional teamwork between owner, designer and constructor realized through the CSI’s principles of how clear, well-prepared construction documents can positively influence the process, quality and successful outcome of a project.
The AIA Merit Award recognizes excellence in architectural design while creating awareness of the built environment and honors the architect, owner and builder of significant projects.
