High Falls Museum closes for maintenance

The High Falls Center and Interpretive Museum, 74 Brown’s Race, will be closed for maintenance and cleaning operations in anticipation of the summer season. The center will reopen to the public at 9:30 a.m. June 24.

The museum was created by the city in 1992 under a preservation covenant with New York state and supported through funds from the Environmental Quality Bond Act. It has been operated by the Rochester Public Library and the Office of the City Historian since September 2013. Admission is free.

Regular operating hours are 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. To learn more about the museum, visit www.cityofrochester.gov/highfallsmuseum or call (585) 325-2030.
