The Bonadio Group has been recognized as a top accounting firm for women CPAs for a second consecutive year.
The award comes from the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance and the American Women’s Society of Certified Public Accountants, which together named The Bonadio Group one of 10 CPA firms on the list of 2014 Best Public Accounting Firms for Women.
Firms were ranked on the range, depth and success of the programs, and workplace culture proven to remove barriers to women’s success and career advancements.
“This is a great honor for the second consecutive year and the best part is that we qualify just by implementing our firm’s strategic plan,” said Thomas Bonadio, managing partner and CEO. “We are continually seeking ways to create opportunity for all employees and this award reflects that effort.”
At 29 percent, The Bonadio Group is well above the national average of women partners and principals in accounting firms, according to a release. The firm credits its culture of “work-life integration,” rather than “work-life balance,” as a positive way to accommodate both employee and employer needs.
