Firm targets billing results

Nursing homes can improve billing results with a service called Source Solutions, a new capability operated by two organizations of long-term care billing experts — Bonadio Receivable Solutions and MDS Solutions.
Claudia Groenevelt, director of Bonadio Receivable Solutions, said the process for identifying diagnosis codes will change in 2015 and there will be changes in how claims are submitted so facilities to adjust to comply.
For instance, the current classification of diagnoses has 13,000 codes; the new version 68,000. There also are approximately 8,000 codes to identify the procedures or work that is provided.
Bonadio Receivable Solutions and MDS Solutions created Source Solutions to address the issues by taking over the billing function for long-term care facilities. The new service will help nursing homes bill correctly for all provided services. Source Solutions will help long term care facilities improve accuracy, comply with new billing expectations and promote revenue entitlement.
