Nothnagle agents win industry awards

Three of Nothnagle Realtors’ agents won awards at 2014 Greater Rochester Association of Realtors Leadership and Awards Luncheon on Oct. 22 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Rochester.

Ron Matter of the Fairport office received the GRAR Honor Society Award, presented by fellow Fairport colleague Maria McGill. Matter began real estate in the 1970s, has served as a mentor to countless new agents and is a member of the Fairport Perinton Chamber of Commerce.

The Women’s Council of Realtors’ Member of the Year Award went to Katherine Dexter of Webster, an agent since 2006 who joined WCR in 2007. She has served various positions on the WCR board and was its president in 2012. She also volunteers for a number of organizations including the Southwest Neighborhood Center and Rochester Rotary.

Val Morgan of the Webster office won the WCR Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Former 2012 WCR President, Morgan has been in the industry for 26 years and won several sales awards as well as the GRAR Realtor Associate of the Year in 2005.  She is active in her church and actively volunteers for numerous organizations.

Additionally, Lanie Bittner from the Nothnagle Pittsford branch was installed to the GRAR board of directors. Toni Connors from the Pittsford branch was installed as GRAR president-elect; Linda Wilson, Brighton Branch, secretary treasurer; and Danielle Riley, secretary of the Women’s Council of Realtors.
