Date change of NYC UBE hearing

The time and date of the New York City public hearing on the uniform bar exam has been changed.

Originally scheduled for Jan. 21 at City University of New York School of Law, the hearing will still be conducted there, but at 2 p.m. on Jan. 20. As a result of the change, people interested in testifying have until Jan. 10 to request an invitation to testify and Jan. 13 to submit written comments.

The hearing is one of three being conduct by a special advisory committee appointed by Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman to study the proposed adoption of the uniform bar exam in New York.

One of the hearings will be conducted in Rochester at 2 p.m. Feb. 26 at the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, 50 East Ave.
