Business owners and management from a wide range of industries and backgrounds will gather March 12 at the Country Club of Rochester to learn about financial resources and exit options for their businesses.
Harter Secrest & Emery LLP and Ironwood Capital are hosting the event, “Capital Strategies and Exit Planning for Successful Businesses,” for privately held businesses interested in expanding or selling.
The half-day seminar will consist of two panel discussions of industry professionals addressing the diversity of financial resources available, the impact of capital influx, how to prepare a business for an exit or to access capital, and first-hand experience of successes and struggles.
The first panel, moderated by HSE attorney E.J. Snyder, will discuss capital strategies and exit planning from an advisor’s and capital provider’s perspective.
The second panel, moderated by Ironwood Capital Director Paul Witinski, will address the role of owners and management in raising capital, working with financial partners and exit planning.
