Dunkin’ Donuts raises funds for Foodlink

Rochester-area Dunkin’ Donuts raised $10,668 for Foodlink, Feeding America’s regional foodbank serving upstate New York.

The donation is a result of Iced Coffee Day on May 20, when participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants donated $1 for every Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee sold. Rochester-area Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees will present Foodlink with a $10,668 check today at the Red Wings game at Frontier Field.

“It’s amazing how supportive our community is and we are thankful for Dunkin’ Donuts and all of their guests who bought an iced coffee,” said Terra Keller, Foodlink’s director of community relations. “The funds raised through Iced Coffee Day will translate to 36,000 meals for our neighbors in need, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.”

Foodlink is a regional Feeding America food bank serving Allegany, Genesee, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Seneca, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates counties.
