The state Department of State will conduct a public hearing at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in three locations around the state regarding the dispensing of hearing aids.
A Western New York meeting will be in conference room 208 at 65 Court St. in Buffalo. There will also be meetings in Albany and New York City.
The public has the right to attend at any of the locations. The meeting will also be webcast live at http://bit.ly/1GUxbNJ.
The department’s Division of Licensing Services issues licenses to people who dispense hearing aids, and the Hearing Aid Dispensing Advisory Board advises the department on adoption of rules and regulations relating to this discipline.
