The Rochester Rotary Charitable Trusts Inc. announced the following additions to its board of directors recently: Robert Attardo, of Fairport, special counsel at Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP; Tim Cook, of Chili, president of Cook Communications LLC; and Kathleen Pringle, of Fairport, president of the Kathleen Pringle Group. Rochester Rotary Charitable Trusts Inc. owns the Rochester Rotary Sunshine Campus, a fully accessible residential summer camp in Rush, that meets the needs of children with paralysis and other physical challenges and their families.

Advertising, marketing and public relations agency Dixon Schwabl announced the promotion of Nadine General to vice president of agency nonprofit services, Suzanne Komenski to media coordinator, Rob Meacham to account executive and Sarah Picciotto to junior media buyer. General is responsible for developing and growing the agency’s overall nonprofit work, as well as developing, executing and managing a system for the agency’s donated and trade nonprofit services. She is on the board of directors for the Public Relations Society of America and is co-chair of the PRSA Diversity Committee. Komenski will manage data for weekly placements in broadcast, print, outdoor and digital media. She will assist with the planning, purchasing and negotiating of media, as well as conduct market research for new-business pitches and support on requests for proposals. Meacham is responsible for collaborating with senior team members to set the objectives of accounts and to understand client requirements, markets and audiences. Picciotto will coordinate data management, assist with projects and manage media buys for the Frontier Communications account.

Roberts Communications announces the addition of Vicki Alva as account supervisor. She will be working with the account services team to lead and manage programs and analysis for multiple client accounts, including Xerox Corporation. While working to grow existing accounts, she will also develop and support strategic B2B marketing campaigns and offer trade show support.

Kevin Ignaszak, PE, has joined Stantec as a principal in the firm’s Rochester office, while three other Stantec employees earned professional licensure or certifications. With over 23 years of professional environmental consulting and design/build experience, Ignaszak has managed dozens of important environmental remediation efforts across New York, ranging from brownfield redevelopment and hazardous waste clean-up to carbon footprint assessments and environmental permitting. Ignaszak earned his bachelor of science in civil engineering from SUNY Buffalo and is a registered professional engineer in the State of New York. Three other employees from Rochester recently received their professional engineering licenses or certificates. Tim Howe is now a professional engineer (PE) in New York while Greg Schworm and Tom Held earned Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
