VLSP plans Pro Bono CLE

The Volunteer Legal Services Project of Monroe County Inc. will hold a CLE for “Pro Bono Ethics: Issues Related to Board Service” on Nov. 12. The event will begin with registration at 8 a.m. at Genesee Valley Club, at 421 East Ave. in Rochester.

VLSP Board of Directors President M. Aileen Shinaman will offer the welcome and opening comments. Presenters include, Hon. Thomas Richards, Hon. Thomas VanStrydonck, Megan K. Dorritie and Arline L. Santiago. The moderator is Michael R. McEvoy, of Harter Secrest & Emery LLP.

For purposes of New York State Mandatory CLE requirements, this session will be eligible for at least 1.5 credit hours in the Ethics and Professionalism category and is designated as transitional (newly admitted attorneys attending live classroom programs may obtain credit) and non-transitional.
