GENEVA — An Ontario County man wanted for threatening a woman and two young children with a gun has been captured in Pennsylvania.

Police in the Ontario County city of Geneva say Michael T. Anderson, 29, of 2760 County Road 6, Geneva, was armed with a long gun when he broke into the woman’s home Saturday while she was with the children.

Officials say Anderson fled the scene before police arrived, then crashed his vehicle at an intersection in the neighboring town of Phelps, Ontario County and ran into some woods with the gun.

Pennsylvania State Police said they captured Anderson on Monday in Franklin County, on the Maryland border, 220 miles south of Geneva.

The Geneva Police Department is working to bring Anderson back to New York to face charges.
