The Women’s Council, a Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce affiliate, is seeking nominations for the 2017 ATHENA and ATHENA Young Professional Awards.
The Women’s Council will present the awards at its annual ATHENA Awards luncheon on Jan. 19, 2017.
The ATHENA Award is given annually by the Women’s Council to a professional female leader who has demonstrated significant achievements in business, community service, and the professional advancement of women.
The ATHENA Young Professional Award recognizes emerging female leaders in the 30 to 45 year old range who demonstrate excellence, creativity, and initiative in their business or profession.
Center for Youth Executive Director Elaine Spaull received the 2016 ATHENA Award. Trevett Cristo Salzer & Andolina P.C. Partner Melanie Wolk took home the 2016 ATHENA Young Professional Award.
To nominate someone, visit the Women’s Council website at www.ROCWomensCouncil.org. Only online submissions will be accepted. The nomination deadline is Sept. 30.
