What do you enjoy most about practicing personal injury law?
Personal injury law allows me each day to recognize my blessings. As a personal injury attorney, I come into people’s lives at one of the worst and most tragic time periods. If I am able to ameliorate their situation in any way it is truly fulfilling. I became an attorney to help people. As an attorney in my own firm I have been able to help the less fortunate in Rochester and use my craft to make a difference.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve dealt with over the past year?
In the past year, we’ve lost human interaction with both the courts and our clients. As we emerge from the pandemic the challenge will be putting the personal back in personal injury.
What community organizations do you support as a volunteer and why?
I support multiple youth organizations in inner-city Rochester including the annual Step Jam, a city-wide dance competition, and the Rochester Hispanic Youth Baseball League, which supports children in the Clinton Avenue area. I also have organized and participated in multiple back-to-school backpack giveaways for children that cannot afford school supplies.
