Harter Secrest & Emery announces that Daniel J. Altieri, a member of the firm’s Litigation practice and Privacy and Data Security team, has been elected partner in the firm.
As part of his privacy and data security practice, Altieri works closely with clients in education, healthcare, retail, manufacturing and other industries on issues relating to incident preparation and post-incident response, regulatory compliance and risk assessments and more. As a litigator, he advises clients on all aspects of commercial litigation from pretrial matters through trial and appeal. He has successfully tried complex cases to verdict and argued before the Supreme Court of the State of New York Appellate Division. Altieri was selected by his peers for inclusion in 2021 and 2022 Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for Commercial Litigation and Litigation-Banking and Finance, and he was included in the Upstate New York Super Lawyers Rising Stars list from 2017-2020.
