What do you enjoy most about practicing family law?
The biggest joy in practicing family law is guiding and helping people through some very difficult and emotional times of their life. I try to get my clients to focus on the future and not the past.
What has been the biggest challenge you’ve dealt with over the past year?
Clearly, practicing law remotely during the COVID pandemic has been the biggest challenge. Having face-to-face interactions with other attorneys and judges goes a long way in resolving matters. This has been missing. Also, doing virtual trials is a real challenge especially if you have a case with lots of trial exhibits.
What is one personal goal you have for the next year?
I want to get back to running more. I have been a big runner for the last 20 years but I have slacked off a little in the past year. Running is a great stress reliever for me and it is cheaper than therapy.
