Barclay Damon hires attorney Matt Smith

Attorney Matt Smith has joined Barclay Damon LLP as an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation and torts and products liability defense practice areas.
Smith, whose primary office is Rochester, advises clients on a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters, including business litigation, executive compensation agreements, and civil rights litigation. He has additional experience drafting company policies and procedures and advising corporate clients on them.
Prior to joining Barclay Damon, Smith was an associate at firms in Charlotte, N.C., Buffalo, New York, and Syracuse. He also served as a petty officer second class in the U.S. Navy.
