Art of Lawyering exhibit encourages VLSP support

Volunteer Legal Services Project Inc. once again gathered the creative works by lawyers, paralegals and professional affiliates to host the opening of the 2011 Art of Lawyering Exhibit on Oct. 6. With more than 125 items up for bid, the opening reception drew a wide range of guests and some competitive bidding.

Erdman Anthony employees check out new office

Russ Bullock, president and CEO of engineering firm Erdman Anthony, took his employees to the Culver Road Armory last week to get a first look at their new office space. The firm hosted a two-hour sneak peek Sept. 20. It will be the largest tenant in the renovated armory when it moves in in December.

Legal community volunteers make jewelry for VLSP auction

Studio 34 Creative Arts Center on Elton Street was buzzing with creativity on Aug. 11 as nearly 40 volunteers gathered to help Volunteer Legal Services Project, Inc. enhance the inventory for the upcoming Art of Lawyering fundraising auction scheduled to open on Oct. 6. Studio owner Marilynne Lipshutz was instrumental in lining up instructors to help the participants.
