I-Square plan gets tax breaks
The County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency granted incentives for a $9.9 million mixed-used development in Irondequoit called I-Square. I-Square LLC is proposing to construct seven buildings, an outdoor amphitheater, parking and residential space as part of the plan. The developer expects 12 jobs will be created over the next three years.
COMIDA approves Armory PILOT
Whitney Baird Associates LLC - the developer of the Culver Road Armory in the City of Rochester - received approval to enter a Lease/Leaseback with Special PILOT agreement with the County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency on Tuesday.
Microtel hotel help approved
Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks on Tuesday announced that the County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency approved assistance for two local economic development projects, including a Microtel Inn & Suites hotel in Chili.
COMIDA joins NYSEDC lawsuit
The County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency joined 34 other IDAs in New York and the state Economic Development Council in a lawsuit that seeks to halt the state’s taxation of IDAs’ gross revenues.
