NeighborWorks Rochester has been awarded a $5,000 grant award from Northwest Savings Bank to help support its efforts to improve neighborhoods in the city of Rochester. The money will help the organization continue to provide city residents with the programs and services necessary for them to become successful homeowners and involved residents in their neighborhood.

Advocacy Center receives education grant

The Advocacy Center, based in Rochester, will receive $524,874 from the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Special Education Programs. The money will be used for the Parent Training and Information Center, which serves all of New York outside the five boroughs of New York City.
