Farash Foundation announces grants
Thirty-seven local nonprofit agencies will receive $1.145 million in grants from the Max and Marian Farash Charitable Foundation, in a round just announced to those organizations. COA rules for attorney access to nursing homes
Rules promulgated by an assisted living nonprofit organization that restrict access by attorneys and advocates to residential care home residents are inconsistent with New York State Department of Health regulations, the New York State Court of Appeals said in a 5-2 decision last week.
RCF grants awarded
The Realtors Charitable Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Greater Rochester Association of Realtors, recently announced first quarter grant awards totaling $37,000 to local nonprofit organizations.
