Ontario County man charged in child porn case

Chad Richard Crowley, 25, of Clifton Springs, is charged with enticement of a minor and production of child pornography.
Enticement of a minor carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 10 years in prison, a maximum of life and a $250,000 fine. Production of child pornography carries a mandatory minimum penalty of 15 years in prison, a maximum of 30 and a $250,000 fine.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Tiffany H. Lee said the complaint alleges that on Feb. 12, Crowley engaged in sexually explicit text messages with a 12-year-old and 13-year-old girls. According to the complaint, the minors sent sexually explicit images to Crowley. In addition, the complaint alleges that on Feb. 13, Crowley attempted to go see one of the minors.
