Family First FCU expands

The new year marked an expansion for Family First Federal Credit Union which has merged with Henrietta Federal Credit Union.

The merger increases Family First’s locations to four, while providing Henrietta Federal Credit Union members access to Family First’s comprehensive financial services. The merged organization will maintain Family First Federal Credit Union’s branding.

A December vote of the HFCU membership and their board of directors confirmed the agreement, which was approved by the National Credit Union Administration. The merger, which brings the membership of Family First FCU to approximately 12,000, was finalized on Jan. 1.

“This merger brings together two organizations with a similar, member-focused philosophy and dedication to the communities we serve,” said Family First FCU CEO Christine Peters.
