Brother and sister harbored undocumented workers

An Ontario County man and his sister pleaded guilty Monday to harboring illegal aliens.
The charges carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine. U.S. District Court Judge David G. Larimer scheduled sentencing for Jan. 19.
J. Guadalupe Hernandez, 33, and his sister, Felisita Hernandez, 32, both of Farmington, , pleaded guilty just as jury selection was starting in their trial.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, between February 2014 and December 2015, the pair hid undocumented workers at El Jimador Mexican Restaurant in Farmington, and Molcajetes Mexican Grill, in Greece. El Jimador was owned by defendant Guadalupe Hernandez while Molcajetes was owned by Felisita Hernandez.
They provided apartment housing in Farmington and Geneva for some of the undocumented workers and paid them in cash.
