House proposes deep cuts to LSC funding
The cuts just keep coming. The House Appropriations Committee is proposing to cut Legal Services Corp. funding by $104 million for fiscal 2012, which would roll it back to 1999 levels. That comes on the heels of a $15.8 million reduction this fiscal year.
