Judiciary Committee considering Green’s nomination

The record on Monroe County District Attorney Michael C. Green’s hearing for consideration for a federal judgeship will remain open for one week. The U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary, which questioned Green and other candidates for other federal positions for more than an hour earlier this week, will schedule an executive meeting to consider whether to send Green’s nomination to the full Senate for confirmation.
