Mark J. Moretti, a partner with Phillips Lytle LLP, will speak at a New York State Bar Association Trial Lawyers Section Diversity Committee seminar on Sept. 23 at Syracuse University College of Law.
Moretti will participate in a program titled “Pointers on Courtroom Conduct for Students and Newly Admitted Attorneys.” He is a previous five-time faculty member of NYSBA‘s Young Lawyers Section Trial Academy.
Moretti was a recipient of a 2013 Leaders in Law Award from The Daily Record. He focuses his practice in the areas of business and tort litigation.
He is a former chairman of the NYSBA Trial Section. He is also a member of the NYSBA’s Dispute Resolution Section; Commercial and Federal Litigation Section; and the Trial Lawyers Section, Executive Committee. He also serves on the board of directors for the Volunteer Legal Services Project of Monroe County Inc. He is a former chairman of the board of Foodlink and currently serves on its Senior Advisor’s Committee.
Moretti earned his law degree from SUNY Buffalo Law School and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester.
