What do you enjoy most about practicing labor and employment law?

Every matter has a unique fact pattern that is affected by all the vagaries of people-personality, biases, power, etc.

What has been the biggest challenge you’ve dealt with over the past year?

Juggling cases in courts that have further re-opened with a variety of different paces to their calendars and new procedures to follow.

What do you see as the biggest changes in labor and employment law in the next 3-5 years?

Continued growth as there are still many proposed laws on the state and federal level that, if passed, will further challenge the HR community and labor andemployment attorneys.

What community organizations do you support as a volunteer and why?

I volunteer some of my time to The Tennis Club of Rochester for the love of the game and the great club that it is. Also, for many years I devoted quite a bit of time to coaching youth sports and serving on high school booster club boards with my four sons.

What is one personal goal you have for the next year?

After two years of mostly being at home, I hope to travel to see friends and family in New York, Connecticut, North Carolina, Florida and Pennsylvania.
