What do you enjoy most about practicing labor and employment law?

The practice is interesting and it changes often, particularly in recent years. I enjoy working with employers, employees and unions in my advocacy work. I also enjoy working as a neutral mediator, arbitrator, hearing officer and special master to help resolve labor and employment law disputes.

What community organizations do you support as a volunteer and why?

I serve as Chairperson of the Attorney Grievance Committee for the Seventh Judicial District of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Department. Our Committee educates the community about the attorney/client relationship and investigates complaints which allege unethical behavior by attorneys.I also serve as a lector and volunteer at Holy Apostles Roman Catholic Church in the city of Rochester.

What is one personal goal you have for the next year?

My goal is to continue to deliver high quality and affordable legal services to all who trust our firm to represent them. Another goal is to expand the ADR (alternative dispute resolution) part of our practice.
