(USA TODAY Network via Reuters Connect) – Bench warrants were canceled and an August court date is set for Eminem’s ex-wife after she failed to appear in court for a hearing and a sentencing in separate drunken driving cases last week.

Kimberley Anne Mathers, 51, of Chesterfield Township, failed to appear for a sentencing and a bond modification hearing in one case and a probable cause conference in another case in 42-2 District Court in New Baltimore on June 24.

The warrants were canceled Friday, June 26. She was arraigned on the warrants that day, with a $5,000 personal bond set in one case and a $500 personal bond set in the other, according to online court records. They list an Aug. 13 court date for a probable cause conference in one case and the same date for sentencing in the other case.

Messages were left for Mathers’ attorney, Camilla Barkovic, who could not be immediately reached for comment Monday, June 29.

Both cases were filed this year.

The bond modification hearing and sentencing hearing stemmed from her May 11 no-contest plea to operating while intoxicated, according to a release from the Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office. Online court records list the charge as operating-impaired, a misdemeanor.

The news release said she violated the court’s bond conditions by being arrested for another operating while impaired offense two days after entering her plea.

The prosecutor’s office said the original probable cause conference was set in connection with a third offense operating while intoxicated charge on which Mathers was arraigned on May 28. Online court records list the charge as a felony. The prosecutor’s office also said she allegedly violated her alcohol monitoring device four times since May 28.
