How do you balance legal expertise with client service and relationship-building?

We value our clients and prioritize building relationships with them. As a boutique law firm, we only work with clients whose needs we can meet. In an effort to balance client service with the high demand for our services, we offer each potential new client the opportunity to come in and meet with us to ensure that we are a good fit. This focus allows our clients to better understand our legal expertise before making any commitment to work with us.

How important is community involvement or pro bono work within your organization?

Our community is the cornerstone of our organization. We are here to support individuals and families in our community. We seek to connect with others through local libraries, community groups, and professional organizations. These local connections enable us to better support our community and offer pro bono services to those in need.

What is one accomplishment — professional or personal — that you are especially proud of?

I learned how to snowboard this past winter! I am especially proud of this accomplishment because it was one that took me by surprise! I have always enjoyed outdoor activities in the Finger Lakes in the summer and now snowboarding has given me the opportunity to enjoy more time outdoors in the winter too. Next year, you’re welcome to come find me on Bristol Mountain playing in the snow!
