The Foundation of the Monroe County Bar is seeking nominations for its Humanitarian Award, presented annually at the Monroe County Bar Association’s Law Day luncheon in the spring.
The foundation established its Humanitarian Award in 2003 to recognize individuals and organizations whose service to the community of Monroe exemplifies the charitable and humane purposes of the foundation.
Qualifications include improving the administration of justice and encouraging better public understanding of the law, making legal institutions more responsive to the public interest, improving the delivery of legal services, encouraging legal services to the underserved and supporting legal education.
Nominations are due Feb. 1. To submit a name for consideration, complete the nomination form and provide comprehensive additional information in support of the candidate.
