Third Jazz for Justice fundraiser set

The Foundation of the Monroe County Bar will host its third annual Jazz For Justice fundraiser in collaboration with the Eastman School of Music on March 22.
The event will run from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Harro East Ballroom, 115 N. Chestnut St.
Lawyers, judges, business leaders and community groups will join honorary chair A. Vincent Buzard for an evening of food from Rochester’s top restaurants and jazz performances by the Eastman School’s Reuben Allen Trio and the David Detweiler Trio. The event will also include a silent auction featuring dining, vacation and entertainment packages, as well as a wine pull.
“Jazz For Justice has grown into the foundation’s signature fundraising event,” said Foundation President Audrey Peartree. “We’re grateful to the many organizations and individuals who continue to show their support in order for the foundation to continue its dedication to promoting justice, fairness and equality in the Greater Rochester community.”
