Fisher honored by Appraisal Institute chapter

Listen to this articleThe Upstate New York Chapter of the Appraisal Institute awarded Donald A. Fisher, of Syracuse, the first annual G. Richard Kelley Memorial Award. Kelley’s widow, Mary Grace Maguire-Kelley, presented the award to Fisher. G. Richard Kelley was an icon in the appraisal profession in a career that spanned over 54 years.
Fisher is president of Pomeroy Appraisal Associates Inc. and has vast experience in appraising a variety of properties for public, institutional and private clients throughout New York State and other parts of the country. Fisher also has been a major contributor in appraisal education.
The award goes to an individual who makes a significant contribution to the chapter, the appraisal profession or their local community. The Appraisal Institute is recognized as the leader in the real estate appraisal industry and is one of the oldest organizations of real estate appraisers in the world.
