Former ABA president/Buffalo native honored

The University of Miami Inter-American Law Review will honor Buffalo native Carolyn B. Lamm, formerAmerican Bar Association president, with the Lawyer of the Americas on March 30 at the Coral Gables Country Club in Miami.

Each year, the recognition honors an attorney who has demonstrated exemplary service in the field of Inter-American law and in the furtherance of improved economic, social and political policies inthe Americas.

Lamm, a partner at the global law firm of White & Case, served as president of the ABA from 2009-2010. She received her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York College at Buffalo, and her law degree in 1973 from the University of Miami School of Law.
