Defense community dinner tickets on sale

Tickets are on sale for the 2012 Defense Community Dinner on Oct. 12 at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
The event will begin with cocktails at 4:30 p.m. in the University Gallery Building 7A, Booth Hall. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m., followed by the presentation of the 2012 Jeffery A. Jacobs Award, named for a special assistant public defender who was known as a fierce advocate for his clients. Jacobs, who was an inspiration for the defense community, died in 2006.
Tickets for the dinner at $30 per person. Participants are asked to RSVP by this Friday. Form more information, contact Peggy Prescott at (585) 753-4031.
