Lightfoot proposes business resolution

Monroe County Legislator John Lightfoot, D-Rochester, has proposed a resolution calling on the state to more aggressively promote new business investment and job growth, which was passed at a New York State Association of Counties meeting last week.
The resolution encourages Foreign Direct Investment and foreign companies to locate in New York.
The resolution focuses on the need for new business investment and job growth while also recognizing that New York state is seen to be one of the most expensive states in which to do business.
