What professional accomplishment have you been most proud of this year?

Hiring additional attorneys and professional staff so that we have additional resources to handle cases and serve the District.

What do you think the biggest change in the legal industry will be over the next 3-5 years?

Providing technology necessary for discovery to be extracted and reviewed from electronic devices.

What are the most important skills lawyers need that they didn’t need 10-20 years ago?

More technical skills because of the vast amount of information extracted from electronic devices that is used in litigation. This will become increasingly difficult as AI is more widely utilized.

What is one thing you hope to accomplish before the end of next year?

Providing additional support for the litigation attorneys, including upgrading our eLitigation Unit with additional staff to assist with more technical issues that arise from electronic evidence.

What Rochester-area organizations do you support and why?

I am involved in community-based outreach with leaders and individuals from a number of local organizations.
