What are you most excited about for the coming year?

I am currently working with a number of clients on complex real estate development transactions that present particularly novel challenges. Helping clients that I have worked with for decades to solve new challenges is what makes this profession so satisfying.

What is one thing you enjoy more about practicing law since the pandemic?

The freedom to practice outside of the traditional constraints of time and place is refreshing.

What is your favorite thing about the Rochester region?

The quality of life. From affordable housing, to top-notch schools, to non-existent commuting times to comfortable weather (I love the winter!) makes Rochester difficult to beat. It is also a wonderful town in which to practice law. Over the course of four decades, I have developed a great working relationship with many of my colleagues around town. That makes for more efficient negotiations and smoother transactions.
