On the Town: Young Lawyers Section cruises on the canal

Members of the Young Lawyers Section of the Monroe County Bar Association enjoyed an evening cruise last week on the Genesee River and Erie Canal.


The event, aboard the Mary Jemison, was to socialize and welcome new lawyers. Among those in attendance were section Chair Tim Lyster, Monroe County Bar Association Executive Director Mary Loewenguth and MCBA President Connie O. Walker.


The two-hour sunset cruise was sponsored by Sage Rutty & Co. and the Foundation of the Monroe County Bar.

  1. I hope everyone had a great time and enjoyed there cruise. This is a great way for new employees to meet and get to no each other and therefore it can help to improve communication between themselves before starting work. This will in tern improve productivity.
