On the Town: YLS hosts its fifth silent auction

Daily Record Staff//June 21, 2013//

Dozens of young lawyers — and not-so-young lawyers — gathered Tuesday evening to raise money for the Rochester Teen Court.

The event, at the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, was the fifth annual silent auction sponsored by the Young Lawyers Section of the Monroe County Bar Association. This year was also a celebration of 15 years of Teen Court.

The section also welcomed the return of the Hon. Judith S. Kaye, the state’s former chief judge, who is a fixture at the event.

Other attendees included Section Chair Timothy Lyster, MCBA President Connie O. Walker, MCBA Executive Director Mary Loewenguth, U.S. District Court Judge Frank P. Geraci Jr., Seventh Judicial District Administrative Judge Craig J. Doran, state Supreme Court Justice J. Scott Odorisi, Rochester City Court Judge Teresa D. Johnson and Elaine M. Spaull, executive director for the Center for Youth.
