Financial advisor starts own company

Kitty Bressington, a financial advisor in the Greater Rochester area, has announced she has founded her own firm, Linden Financial Consultants LLC.

Her office, at 141 Sully’s Trail in Perinton, provides fee-only financial planning and investment advisory services.

“I believe that a fee-only approach helps to minimize potential conflicts of interest,” Bressington said. “The only compensation we earn is from our clients and for providing the services they need most. We do not sell investments, insurance or financial products of any type.”

Linden Financial Consultants specializes in serving women who are widowed, divorced or want to take an active role in managing their financial well-being and any individual or family preparing for retirement, college or who want to proactively manage their financial plan.

Bressington, a certified financial planner, has more than 15 years of experience in the financial planning field.

Bressington, a resident of Avon, was director of financial services for Allied Financial Partners in Rochester before opening her own business.
