What is one legal issue or trend you’re keeping a close eye on this year?

Since January, I have been closely following the Trump Administration’s executive orders and the related lawsuits. Clients frequently ask about the EOs, and the impact of same.

What skills do you think are most crucial for new attorneys entering the field today?

The same skills that have proved important over the test of time — critical analysis, curiosity, strong research skills and a willingness to learn.

What’s your ideal way to spend a weekend in the Finger Lakes or Western New York?

My ideal way to spend a weekend in the Finger Lakes is going to Ithaca, where I went to college and have longstanding friends. Ithaca is beautiful in aesthetics and spirit.
